This year, coffee weathered a storm. Between the El Niño drought, the historic Robusta surge and a temporary logistics disruption in the DRC that deprived us of our Rives du Kivu for a few weeks, 2023 gave us plenty to remember. And yet, as the festive season approaches, it is with optimism that we present our Christmas gift sets.
This year’s new arrivals to slip under the tree
2023 was a rich year. We welcomed the cooperative Les Hauts de Boyo in Cameroon, with its honey process micro-lot and its notes of raspberry and cinnamon. This coffee, deliberately kept in small volume, finds a natural home in this year’s premium gift sets.
In May we also launched our Cold Brewrange, designed for lovers of refreshing coffee. The Cold Brew Discovery Pack, with its four recipes, makes an original gift for anyone discovering cold coffee.

The Limited Christmas Gift Set remains the classic of the season: Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Kenya Nyeri and our « Torréfaction » candle. Two high-altitude coffees, floral and complex, for a slightly brighter festive morning.
The Corporate Gift Set, with its kilo of Brazil, its electric grinder and its airtight tin, continues to appeal to teams who want good coffee at the office. Even though the B2B channel slowed a little this year, we firmly believe quality always pays off in the end.

A year of lessons, not regrets
We will not hide that theAutumn 2023 Edition, launched in September, did not find its audience. Its overly spiced profile unsettled some coffee lovers. We are withdrawing it from the catalogue next spring, but the remaining stock is part of our end-of-year promotions. That, too, is what being an artisan house means: learning from our recipes, even the disappointing ones.
